Something new is taking shape here …
Ansitz Schickenburg is currently being transformed. In Marlengo, five new holiday apartments are being created with great care and respect for the house’s centuries-old history.
You can already take a first look inside. From January 2027, we look forward to welcoming you.
We can’t wait!
Sometimes, the most special moments are the ones when everything else becomes quiet. To slow down and feel at ease, you need very little: peace, comfort and nature. Perhaps this is the true luxury of our time.
Set within a living, working farm, the historic Ansitz Schickenburg in Marlengo near Merano is a retreat for adults and couples who are looking for time away, space to breathe and a place with soul.
Where noble families once came and went, five new apartments now offer space for quiet moments, historic charm and a relaxed holiday for two. Old walls, selected pieces of furniture and thoughtful modern design come together to create a special farm stay near Merano.
Nature, right on your doorstep
Just outside Schickenburg, a small green paradise awaits. From the sunbathing lawn by the pool, open from May to September, your view reaches the herb and vegetable garden, the fruit trees and the vineyards of our farm. The winding garden, with its small 17th-century chapel, invites you to slow down, wander and simply enjoy being here.
Morning pleasures – breakfast basket included
In the morning, your breakfast basket will be waiting outside your apartment door. It includes farm products, fresh fruit, homemade jams and seasonal specialities. A quiet moment of pleasure before the day begins.
Between Merano, nature and South Tyrolean charm
Marlengo near Merano brings together the best of South Tyrol: the nearby spa town of Merano, sunny walking and hiking trails, the Marlengo WineCulture Trail right next to Schickenburg, authentic local culture and a landscape that is beautiful in every season.
You can start exploring directly from Schickenburg — even free of charge by public transport with the Südtirol Guest Pass — and return in the evening to a place that feels calm, personal and full of atmosphere.
